In their first joint program, the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin and Voces Suaves present musical highlights from the generation of German composers who preceded Johann Sebastian Bach and had a strong influence on him. The music of the late 17th century continues to captivate with its emotional power and devotion, revealing the impressive sound world into which Bach was born.
