Andrea Theinert, born in Nuremberg, completed her studies in transverse and recorder flute at the Nuremberg Conservatory. This was followed by a degree in transverse flute at the Musikhochschule Stuttgart, as well as a degree in Baroque traverso at the Hochschule der Künste Berlin, where she studied with Christoph Huntgeburth. By participating in international master classes- including those with Barthold Kuijken, Hans-Martin Linde, and Lisa Beznosiuk - she further deepened her expertise on the traverso. 

Andrea Theinert is a permanent member of the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin. In addition, she performs with various orchestras and ensembles, including the Lautten Compagney Berlin, Capella Vitalis Berlin, the Dresden Baroque Orchestra, and the Peter Hänsel Quartett.
